    [Error Code] MX2640 and F2-58 error

    I have this F2-58 error on a customers machine, i have replaced the humidity sensor, checked all the wiring, loaded the latest firmware but the fault continues. The customer just presses ok on the screen and the machine works fine for hours before showing the code again. More annoying than anything, Anyone seen this before?

    When the code appears, what do the temperature & humidity values in 44-14 show?
    If you've replaced the temp/humidity sensor in the bypass tray, and these values go crazy, eg 100% humidity / -40 degrees, you would have one of the following.
    * Broken harness in the bypass tray to the temp/humidity sensor.
    * A faulty temp/humidity sensor.
    * Poor ventilation around the printer, especially on the bypass tray area.
    * Heater or Air Conditioning blowing directly on the printer, towards the bypass tray area, eg, a sudden larger than expected temp/humidity change.
    * Reseat PCU Board harness CN10
    * A faulty PCU Board.
