    H4

H$ error cod is a fuser error. This is probably a thermal fuse. You then have to reset it with cioi 14. It also could be a lamp and or a thermistor.

H4 is generally a fuser problem. Either the fuser did not heat up in time. If you hold down the copy button it will give you a 2 digit sub code (01, 02, etc). Check your lamp to see if they are coming on.

      Good luck. Bil

        Could be lamp

Check to see if lamp comes on, if not could be lamp.

A little redundant don't you think?
