    [Misc] Spooling jobs with PaperCut

    Hi All,

Having a very peculiar issue with PaperCut and Sharp devices wondering if any one has had anything similar.

    > Client prints to a Virtual Queue
    > Client Releases Job at device
    > Machine pulls job down from print server
    > it fails to spool and fires hundreds of jobs to the printer. This happens even though it is a one page doc
    > it doesnt happen with test pages or smaller sized documents

    > PaperCut is on MF21.2
    > Drivers are official sharp
    > Machines on latest firmware

Sounds like it's pulling the entire virtual queue.
Try this: Configure Secure Print Release to support multiple operating systems (papercut.com)

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

If these "hundreds of jobs" are symbols, you should pay attention to a source (virtual) and destination (physical) queues drivers emulation (PCL6, PS, etc.). Never mix PCL and PS (PostScript) on queues.
Keep in mind if you use mobility print, then jobs are rendered in PS.
Lastly, it can be just a driver or document problem itself.

Just curious. Changed port how? To a different IP or from PaperCut port to standard TCP/IP? Did you change a port on the virtual or physical queue?
