[Misc] Sharp MX-4110n Change primary transfer roller

I need some assistance replacing the primary transfer belt (P/N MX510B1) on a Sharp MX-4110n copier. I have looked through the service manual, but haven't found any instructions. My main issue reinstalling the TRANSFER FRONT FRAM AND COVER UNIT (attachment pg56 fig 25 items 17 and 507) over the TRANSFER WASTE TONER PIPE (attachment pg 54 fig 24 item 26). Yeah, we could have just ordered and replaced the whole assembly. Blame in on old age (both the owner and I are pensioners. Too much toner in our blood).

Any assistance would be deeply appreciated.

You dont install it over the waste toner pipe,.This pipe is part of the cleaning unit, and you install the all unit last .

Good morning Onetek. Thanks for the reply. Could you be a little more specific. And if there is some documentation/video on this procedure, it would be deeply appreciated. Thanks.

If the cleaning unit (with cleaning blade ) is already attached on the frame, then take it off, install the front frame and cover, then your cleaning unit. When replacing the belt, the cleaning unit is the first thing removed, and the last thing that you bolt on the belt unit.

Remove all the blue screws (green) and don't forget to powder the blade and belt.

Thanks onetek. Infact, I remember taking off the cleaning blade a few months back. I don't know where or what I did with the instructions. But your answer and the "blue screws" refreshed (i.e. palm strike to the side of the head) my aging memory. Successfully installed the belt and assembled the unit. Passed both op and PCQ check. And I remember to reset the counter. Thanks again.
