    Toner replenishment

    Dear Admin
My copier Sharp MX3110N shows toner replenishment for at least 5 minutes before the machine shows F2:43 when I open the developer unit for Yellow I found that the machine swapped out all the developer

This usually happens when the main charger shorts out to the drum.

Replace the drum, main charge kit, and the developer material.

You will probably see that the grid on the main charger is very dirty when you remove it.

Have you verified the toner motor is working?

Is there a blockage in the toner duct that transports the toner from the toner cartridge to the developer unit?

Agree. These models are notorious for getting clogged toner chutes.
Go into SIM 25 and spin the drums and dv for 15 seconds. It will display the toner/ dv ratio value. These codes only appear if the value is lower than 73 or higher than 200. A good mix is 115-140.

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

You don't adjust these values, they are a result of a test of the toner/developer mix in the developer unit.

If the number is high you have an under toned issue, if the number is low you have an over toned issue.

If it is under toned you need to verify toner is getting to the developer unit.

Check the toner motor and the toner duct that carries the toner from the cartridge to the developer unit.

is showing EEL-EL and after I did a sky shot the toner is not dropping in to the developer automatically again
