MX-C303WH skewed scans

We're having scanner-issues with an MX-C303WH

The problem also occurs when copying.

70% of the scans and copys are skewed...

This is one of the last 303's we sold, and i'm at a loss..

I tried just about everything i could think of, even swapped the rspf unit with that of another machine, but the problem remains.

Is there anybody out there who has another suggestion? :-)

Does it skew from the bypass also? How many copies are on the machine? If you only have one tray might be the feed rollers. Check if anything is in the paper path causing the skew. Good luck.

Found this for RSPF skewing. I would think if you put a new RSPF unit on it that the washers would already be installed. Is is skewing from the flat glass as well or only the RSPF?

Had this issue and did the same as well in replacing the RSPF but no results.

I discovered that the hinges on these single pass units are slightly loose and shiftable at slight increments, just enough to cause a skew. I ended up putting duct tape around the hinges to provide a snug fit and made adjustments from there.
