MX-3640N E7-61 error when swapping MFPC board

We have a problem MX-3640N. It started with freezing up, unable to access system settings, etc and have installed a new SD card, new HDD to resolve the aforementioned issues, but it still persists on freezing up etc. We have an extra MFPC board in stock so that seems like the next viable option at this point, however once installed it gives an E7-61 error. We have swapped over EEPROM, all ROM chips, etc. What am I missing?

    Hi

Can you start a firmware update??
The error code actually says that there are problems between the boards. Which can also happen with different firmware versions

The Home key on the op panel has been known to cause these series of machines to freeze up as well.
An emergency firmware update should clear that code.

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

        Hi All

Did anyone find a solution to this?

Have tried firmware, MSATA card, HDD, PCU PWB and MFPC PWB and the control panel but same problem
