Question, the DV for this machine is BPnv705. I have 2 machines i HAVE to set up today and was wonderering can I use the MX754NV? its only 20 grams less. (695 vs 715 g). not getting the correct DV until end of week. what do you think? tyia

Might be a crapshoot if that will work. It may for short term, if you have no choice maybe give it a try. Kind of a waste of money, but if it worked I would put in the correct when it comes in, or wait and see if it fails and replace it then. -
It is my understanding that the newer Sharp machines have a small amount of developer that is pre-mixed into the toner. Haven't talked to a Sharp engineer in a number of years, but that is where they were going with the technology, in order to get much greater yields in terms of page counts for developer life. The smaller, fragmented pieces of ferrite compound will get consumed in the normal printing process, & the toner supply will replenish what is being lost. They have also been experimenting with various polymer coatings to the actual ferrite compound that constitues the developer particles, to make the developer more durable. MX-754NV most likely predates some of these developments.Comment
