[Misc] Convert Sharp MX-B402 RADF to Sharp MX-B402SC DADF

I have a customer that has a Sharp MX-B402 that has a broken left RADF hinge. I can't find the hinge anywhere, not even a used one. I have access to a MX B402SC that has a different ADF. (W/ 700K) Has anyone ever converted the MX B402 to the B402SC ? This customer really wants this old copier fixed... Thanks for any help !!!

Gut feel is that is going to be a HARD NO.

I may have a B402 in warehouse.

That would be GREAT !! On this diagram, this (#52) is the part number I need. I would be grateful. (I think this copier has sentimental value to the customer) Let me know how much it is and how to get it to you however you need, if you have it in your shop. THANKS !!!

Make sure it's just the hinge you need. These plastic ADF frames are notorious for cracking apart where the hinges mount.

Make sure you buy the hinge reinforcement plates! This was a common issue on our little giant fleets. So we kept a few of them in stock when encounter these MFPS without it.
There is a bulletin for it to prevent this exact issue!

All I have is the 402SC style in the warehouse.

Doug if you can find a right side hinge just clip the 2 fins off the bottom of that hinge and it will fit fine. Also these hinges are used on the MXC311-312 if you can find one of those to steal from.

Thanks so much for your comments !! I ended up buying a used machine with correct ADF. Really tough to find the hinge. Hope this is future help for someone.....
