    [Error Code] F6-00 on MXC303wW / MXC304W

We have a lot of F6-00 errors with 1 particular client who has a lot of these machines.

Any of you know how to remedy this?

These are relatively new, lets say around 1 year old.

They have been throwing these errors on random times for months now and we dont know how to fix them.

I think its something network related, because it's only this client who has these errors, on 4 machines.

I cant find anything in the technical updates if there is a firmware for this, but they are on the latest firmware.

Fax is NOT connected/used on these machines.

    Any other ideas are welcome.

    Hi
I had it on an MX-B355.
Firmware reloaded, had a few weeks of rest, then the error came back.
Then replaced the circuit board, unfortunately outside of the warranty.
If it's still under warranty, have them all replaced. If out of warranty, order 1 board and see if the error goes away.

Firmware version 05.00.M2 new since 17.05.22

Are you using the 2 wire phone line to the fax unit? Have had issues similar to this (normally on VOIP lines) that I fixed by using the 6 ft 2 wire phone cable that sharp normally provides!

      Good luck

Fax line is not being used in this case, so there is no phone line plugged in at all.

I've seen this occur on MXC301's when fax line not plugged in. Does not happen to all machines that have a fax board that is not being used.

Try disconnecting the connection from the fax board.

If the copier does not code out you should be okay.

            Found it!

            Network problem as i thought...

I checked out the syslog of the machines that were affected and found this:

Something on the 10.128.16.16 is trying to login/scan the machine.

Denied acces on the webpage for that particular ip-address, problem fixed!

            See syslog attachted
