    Set Default Scan Credentials MX-4071

I'm primarily a Ricoh guy, but one of my customers has one of these from their parent company. I'm looking to set it up for scan to folder using an AD service account but I don't see any option in the web interface to set a default sender for scanning.

With about 30 entries to set up between project and user folders, I'd rather not have to add, and later update, the service account password to every entry.

Is there anyway to set a single credential set that scan to folder uses unless manually entered in the address book for a specific entry?

Thanks, though it will not really work for the customer as they're just looking to authenticate a single account as a back end authentication method instead of authenticating users to access the device.

Create the AD account to be used for authentication. If you need help on AD setup, let me know. I have alot of documentation on this.

System Settings > Image Send Settings > Scan Settings > Default Address > Default Address Settings: Enable.
System Settings > Image Send Settings > Scan Settings > Default Address > Add Selected: Apply Home Directory of the user for login. Press Submit.
