[Error Code] F0-10 Finisher staple motor section abnormality

on a MX-950 with a mxfn/21 finisher when doing single corner stapling, stapler stops about to staple when code is thrown; F0-10 Finisher staple motor sectionabnormality (FNM115) accompanied with message on screen " Please check the power of the finisher".
2 side staple function works fine, only happens when single corner staple is selected so no problem w/stapler motor(115) itself. Already Replaced Power supply pwb and filter pwb attached to finisher and optional power supply attached to main Copier. also replaced per bulletin Modified Leaf Spring attached to interlock microswitch even though My finisher had updated Leaf Spring Already in it just in Case, still did not resolve issue........ Any one else experience this problem?

Re: F0-10 Finisher staple motor section abnormality

MXM905 would be the correct model here.

F0-10 is one of the Finisher Safety Switches gone bad.
FNSW102, 103 and 104 are the safety switches for stapling. The rear side is 104. Rear staple will not work if this safety switch is not working.
All 3 safety switches are the same part number 0CWWC45301001. Swap with front safety switch temporarily to confirm the switch problem.
Also check finisher control board harness CN120 is securely connected.
    See MXFN21 FN22 Service Manual Page 102

the above post sounds promising. I was going to say our f0-10 require the stapler assy to be replaced on account of the main gear missing a tooth. Sometimes the cartridge is trapped in the rear with the mouth shut and you're screwed. But if it's able to come to the front you can swap it out easily.

Good Eye it is an MX-M905, even though the 950 can have that same error code, it cannot have the same Finisher! Totally makes sense since one of these switches is the stapler safety switch.
Anyway the price to replace the micro switches are a lot cheaper then replacing Stapler and or finisher pwb. I will order those switches also before this problem machine was displaying "Lower Paper Guide" Message, wondering if there was a correlation with the Stapler problem?

'Lower Paper Guide' message is not part of the issue. The exit roller assembly has most likely just been lifted up too far by a user. Simply push down on the green marker to reset this.
There could be a very small chance the output roller drive clutch has a problem (upper front cover, bottom left corner), but if it's a one-off, I would not worry about this as the finisher is working correctly apart from the rear stapling, which is related to the safety switch previously mentioned most likely.

Switched out all 3 switches 102-103 104, to no avail. I think its time to bring this one into shop and give them a loaner finisher just for the optics, because they are emailing the owner with complaints of me being out there too much and not solving the staple problem.
