    [Error Code] SHARP MX-3070V

Copier has message on a big white screen that says could not access the accounting server. Passwords have been changed, Is their anyway to forcibly get rid of the first message? The way that the copier is configured I can't get to system settings. from the panel or the web page.
The home screen only shows toner levels. I purchased the copier used. I am familiar with the password reset procedure but I can't see the software key with the message on the screen.

    Thanks

Using the service web page clone another similar model and then apply the clone to this machine.

There are instructions on here somewhere to restore the default password. It is a clone process too and there is something specific that you check to clone over. Something like User Data...

I just did this last week. I think it is trying to connect to PaperCut on a server.

      Found it.

"Go to Storage backup. Choose User Register Information."

Apply the backup file to the MX-3070V

Look at the tech bulletin on how to Initialize Password and service Password.

You also have to send a request to Sharp for the Key.

I have heard that you can clone a similar copier , but I have never tried it.
