Sharp MXC300W - best option for scanning

Hi guys,

does anyone have any guides on the best option to scan from a Sharp MXC300W to a Mac running Big Sur?

tried SMB, FTP but havent got them to work?

if you could provide instructions so i could double check it has been set up right that would be great!
