Under Alerts we put our address in the "E-mail Alert Message List 2". I have not tried putting it in the List 1 field. Maybe this is the one that stops the repeated emails.(?) I will try that on a machine in here and put a toner in it below 5%.

We put the MICAS email in the "Dealer E-mail Alert Message List"

When you said "We adjust sim 26-69 settings on all color machines as well as soft switch 32 bit 2. I think the soft switch has something to do with how the machines report toner alerts." what settings do you change on 26-69?

It has changed with the newer models but the only one we currently change right now is C to 1. This should eliminte the Toner Near End message to the user. Before this series it was important that customers didn't replace toners early as they weren't locked until empty. We still chnage it on all machiens but I guess the only ones it would be important on are the mono models currently. There is the risk that someone can not have a spare but we determined very few people actualy made sure they have a spare when they saw that toner was low.

I see you have item D set to 1 (default is 2) all the manual says is operation setting 1 2 or 3 with no explanation. What does the setting do?

A = Toner Preperation = 0
B = Remaining Toner Level = 1
C = Toner Near End = 0
D = Toner End = 1
E = Toner End Count = 1
F = Toner E-mail-Alert = 0
G = Toner MiB unit = 0
H = Mib Toner Low Indication = 0

55-3 Switch 24 bit 7 = Continuous Print
55-3 Switch 28 bit 3 = Disable multi email warning)

We are not doing nothing for about a minute when first starting a new machine since it can give some errors later, but that's not my area sadly
