Im new to sharps, I have been trying to update the firmware, I have down loaded the 6.0 version, my question is can I update the special 5.0 firmware ( this firmware is for the toner cartridge) with the 6.0 firmware? Model MX3571

It is good practice to keep the firmware up to date on the Sharp models.
0600Z200_22061500 is the latest (as of this writing) and yes, you should update to that.
