    MX-1810U Colour Problems

Hello, I am having issues with my sharp MX-1810U copier. It is printing a heavy shade of blue when colour printing or colour copying. The problem just started recently and a technician changed the cyan drum and fuser unit but the problem is still there. There even changed the high volt board, cables and bulbs but no change. Lastly the guy said he will play around with some simulation setting and it has changed from blue to a shade of light green.

The guy now says it could be a firmware or maybe incorrect colour settings.

Is there anyone out here who has faced such issues or could help me please. I will try and attach a picture of both the original document and the copied (blue) document.

Have you tried replacing the primary transfer belt?

        Hi.
Are you sure that a real technician was / is?
I really hope that he also changed the MK kit and cleaned the optics, laser and CCD unit. Why you change circuit boards or even cable harnesses is beyond me and does not show much experience. 50-22 performed and OK ??
46-74 carried out and OK or with errors ??

He's a technician sent by the Sharp dealership . But it's seems there don't have proper or well qualified technicians, and there claim he's the best there have. It seems the technician is also avoiding to come back and compete the job. He says he's still researching on what could be the problem. Also he is trying to get the firmware which he does not have. He also says he needs to look for gamma setting which he has to check from a similar machine.

I would really appreciate any help or input on how I can resolve this. Maybe if its setting I can do it on my own or maybe if there is a way to reset all setting to default/factory reset please advise.

try cleaning the blade and check the secondary belt or roller as well to see if it changes the output. if not replace all three color developers and three drums at the same time (Exclude BLK)

As OlliK has said, first try sim 46-74. It doesn't cost any parts. Does everything copied come out this way, or just the certificates ? There's a lot of background blue. Perhaps something is out of adjustment. Some official documents are printed to defeat copying. Possibly corona, the margins are still white though, it might not be electrical or mechanical.
