The past few months in a row one customer calls & says the machine stopped printing or scanning. I clear 66-10, can ping & print from my laptop, and it's ok until next time. I read it may be a bad print job or driver. The person who called wasn't there to test, but the previous visit I don't remember seeing that. I had a person who was there using a Mac send a test, and it said it couldn't connect to the printer. It has ps installed and the latest firmware. Could that have any relation to the problem ? Thank you for your ideas and consideration.

When this happens is there anything in queue at the copier?

Lower right touch spooling
Is there a job stuck there?
When this happens can you p ping the machine? Can you get to machine web interface?

Please take a new SD card.
Next, see if the job logs are set to 0.
I assume that you have a fixed IP address..

More important than the ping.....can you pull up copier web interface?
If you can ping but not pull up web interface, more than likely something else on the network has hijacked the IP. Most times a cell phone.Comment
