25-01 will not fix the error because you are just turning the toner motors. A sky shot is when you make copies with the platen cover open. Take a piece of paper place it about an inch from the lead edge, place it on the glass and run about 50+sky shots with the toner removed, if possible. Do not attempt another 25-02. The purpose of the sky shot is to use up the toner in the developing unit, but it may not be possible.
But, like I said, if your CQ is good, just go with it, and hopefully all will be good until the next pm on the developer. If not you will have to replace the developer.
Hi,
I was able to perform sky shots with the developer check disabled. i ran 50 black copies and 50 colored copies. DV check is enabled while the toner cartridges are installed back, now am getting F2-41 not 40
That refers to the cyan now. If you're lucky you can tweak it like the black and get it going. They are tricky sometimes. Occasionally you can have a problem with the toner sensor on the developer unit.
I want to appreciate you all for your technical input and support during my dark moments with my machine. I am glad to inform you that the machine is up and running. the printout is good and I learned a lot during this process. long before now, Copiers are not my thing but I came to understand that when one is faced with a challenge it opens up an opportunity to learn.
Well, I had to change the Cyan and Black DV.
Serviced the machine by removing excess toners in the machine
I Ran Sim 25-02 without the toner cartridge
Also Sim 44 etc...
Eventually, my machine worked and so happy. though I had to spend money to get DV.
