Re: Sharp mx m264n blank screen
I would first check if the light and dark settings for the screen are set too bright. Second, I would reseat all of the connectors. -

Re: Sharp mx m264n blank screen
Thanks to everyone that contribute to this it will take some days to back to the machine due to another work at hand and distance. I will try the sd card but with the lt i see there, the machine is running perfectly the screen touch is responding apart that not display i believe if there's no error on the screen the machine will print.Comment

Re: Sharp mx m264n blank screen
Just working through this one abit clearer.
Your device operates normally on network printing, has an operation panel which is only the white backlight, no GUI or display of any kind, and the touch panel works upon touching it?
That would tell me the issue is almost certainly one of the following:
* FFC White Ribbon Cable connection issue at SCU Board.
* FFC White Ribbon Cable connection issue at LVDS Board.
* An LVDS Board issue.
* A SCU Board issue.
The SCU Board controls the Scanner & Operation Panel
The LVDS Board (within the operation panel unit) converts the data signal from the SCU Board to the operation panel & controls touch operation.
You've mentioned a previous tech worked on the operation panel. I'd be going back over that work and confirm the harnesses within the operation panel, especially the FFC White Ribbon Cables, are properly connected at both ends (LVDS and SCU Board).
The device is working, but just has no display. That is almost always a harness issue in my experience.Comment
