This machine will occasionally in the middle of jobs will put out faint almost blank pages. Cust gave me some samples but it never did problem for me. It had one L4-12 code which is for the secondary transfer unit. I replaced that. I checked developer level,full. All maint is up to date.I am wondering if it may be the primary transfer. My scans dont look great that I am posting here. The prints ect in bk and color are comming out nice quality except for when this happens. On the one test sample I drew lines with my pen where there seems to be blank void lines. Not sure if they would show. Looking for ideas. Thanks.

Talked to my coworker about this, have you check the DV unit? Also said might be bad Developer. -

The issue in this thread looks similar. Two people reportedly fixed the problem by changing the clutch in the fuser drive unit responsible for moving the secondary transfer roller.Comment

Here is another sample that might show better,Only does it occasionally and when it is working the copies liik normal. I think a post right abobe this one about the fuser drive assy might be my prob. I forgot to update on this. It was the secondary transfer clutch like was mentioned. Also a couple days after that I had the same thing happen on a MX 3640. On that one the clutch is mounted right on the transfer unit.Comment
