Sharp MX-4070V received faxes not in sequential order.

The client has called us because the received faxes are not in sequential order when being received. We've switched soft switch 114 bit 8 to 0, we have checked the digital line box on the mfp, we have also set up fax to folder and client still says faxes are not in sequential order from multiple senders. It could be a possibility that the sender is not sending the pages sequentially. Any other ideas?

I don't know if this is helpful, but as far as I'm concerned, the machine could be considered a slave. I've had a number of people saying the printer was doing this or that to their print jobs. The machine only does what it's told.

I've told the client the same thing, it only receives them in the order that it is sent, it can not pick and choose the order. I have not had a chance to follow up but told the client I am willing to put another fax unit in there and see how the receiving goes, I am sure it will be the same result but am willing to go the extra step to prove my point.
