    H4-01 on MX-5071S

getting H4-01 once every few days on an MX-5071S

Weird thing is, error pops up at night, like 2am, in a bank...so nobody is there.

Fuser has been replaced, pcu-pwb has been replaced.

Going to replace the AC-pwb as stated in the manual...

    Any other tips?

    Hi
I wouldn't change circuit boards. If the error only occurs at night, it is more likely to be due to the firmware check, which takes place at this time of the night if it is not deactivated.
Update the firmware to the latest version and perform a complete restart.

On devices that are not switched off overnight, the device firmware is checked at 3:00 a.m. If a change in the firmware is detected during this check, the original firmware is restored. This is a security function that prevents manipulation of the device firmware. This function can be activated/deactivated in the security settings of the device.

Any idea where i can disable this for test purposes?

2 fusers, PCU PWB and AC PWB have been replaced but error still comes back.

      Emergency FWupdate has been done.

Im sure its Systems settings and you should look for "If Firmware Corruption is Detected, Restore It" untick this.
Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential

We have got fuser codes on a couple of these style machines. On two of them the pins were messed up on the fuser connector mounted in the machine. The one the fuser plugs into. We replaced the connector and it fixed the problems. Maybe with a magnifying glass you can see the pins before removing the connector to verify they look bent or out of place.

Or monitor the AC power? Perhaps the power is sagging at some point?
