    [Misc] MX-Mx071 - Bypass setting

    Hi everybody

i am having trouble with bypass settings.
I can't "save" paper format on it.

Even if I set it on admin page, after a while, it comes back to "auto"
I need to fic a specific paper size and keep it there without changing it every time I need to print.

    Any issue on that?

    Thank you

You need to go into tray settings on the copier to make the change permanent. However, if other people are using the tray for other sizes and types it will cause issues for them.

Also anytime someone puts paper in the bypass tray a popup menu shows up and it is very easy for someone to change the settings without even realizing it. I haven't found a way to disable this message.

      Good luck

system settings - common settings - paper tray settings - untick "display paper tray settings when bypass tray detects paper"

I presume its a custom format?

You can make your custom format, go to copy, select that custom format on the bypass tray, save it as a shortcut on the homepage.

That way you can quickly switch to your custom format.
