    Borderless Printer

    Hello
    We are looking for a color laser printer for a customer that prints absolutely borderless. Question: Is there such a thing, from which company and does anyone have experience with it. Any idea or suggestion is welcome.

      I don't know of any laser machines that can do edge-to-edge. Because of the fuser, there needs to be some margin to help prevent constant jams. The only way I know of to make edge-to-edge is by printing a larger size image on a smaller size paper, (12x18 image on 11x17 paper) then having a cutter to trim off the bit of white on the lead and trail edges

              The Sharp MX8090N does edge to edge with a fiery.

              I have one client that does it.

              In saying this and as mentioned above, you can not print edge to edge from lead to trail, you will need to trim

                      You do realise then if this is what they want, almost all manufacturers can do this type of printing with the associated options connected to the device for this to happen so the statement above it not so correct.

                      The question then becomes how deep is there pockets, do they have the room required for the equipment and are the operators skilled enough to preform the work.

                      Digital printers this day and age can print basically anything you want
