I have a MX-2616 machine that whenever you reboot it states "An extra memory module is not installed". I have updated firmware, set the settings back to factory, even installed memory in the slot and still keeps giving me the message. I thought these had an end of lease procedure but I can't find it. Has anyone had a problem like this that could help me out? Any help would be appreciated. I have never seen this before but when I added the memory and did a 22-6 it didn't show the added memory on the report. So is there a problem with the MFP board?

Just thought of a couple more things. The program rom on the bottom of the board has 4 LED's and the middle ones are blinking with the outside ones off. They also had an f9-91 trouble code also. -

Sorry guys I think I found the bulletin I was looking for. I just ordered a PCL Flash Rom. Must be faulty. I should of searched the bulletins before getting on here. Thanks anyway you guys are great.Comment
