    BP-70C36

This unit came with a BP-10/FS-13 combo. Brought it into the shop for repair, but left the finisher. Replaced the LSU, can't test print quality , because of the L4-11 code. Can the finisher shift motor be temporarily disabled on this model?

That model does not come from the factory with a offset motor, you get that with the BP-TU10.
You might try a offset motor from a MX4071 or similar (or TU10) for a temporary trial.
