MX-C304WH Not receiving all faxes

It appears I have a customer that when receiving faxes from just one location
most faxes generated from a computer won't always come through. Printed an
activity report and log only shows the problem from that account. Some come through
and others will print out half then about 15 minutes later the rest comes through sometimes.
Sometimes not at all. I'm leaning to the computer generated faxes being the issue.
I updated firmware and turned ECM off???? like I stated no other errors on activity log, Thanks.

Here in Germany, Sharp has issued a technical info for such problems. But note, it's for Germany !!
In the info is changed in the SIM66-1 sw 27 bit 4/5/6 from 000 to 111, which deactivates the V34 mode. SIM 66-1 SW 29 Bit 3/4/5/6 from 1001 to 0001, this deactivates the V17 mode
SIM 66-1 SW29 Bit 1/2 from 00 to 10 disables JBIG compression and MMR encoding.
As a result, however, the transmissions are slower !!!
Firmware version is 05.11

OlliK is correct about slowing down transmissions when it comes to digital lines. In the US, we have at least 2 bulletins that deal with it. TT-050415-1 and TT-20406. 20406 one is on unrelated machines but I am pretty sure they are the same switches. Download the fax manual and look at the soft switches. The necessary switches should be in the 27 - 29 range.

Since it is from one sender, maybe look to see if they are the issue.

Turn off ECM and V.34, set the coding to MMR and lower the baud rates to 9600. Also make sure the phone line is a 2-line cord, not a 4-line.
