Hello people to whom it may concern, I need a step by step procedures on how to upgrade my small MX b201d copier firmware thanks.

I do appreciate your excellent reply of my questions, Please sir, I have further questions, the procedures given, is it for all brand of sharp copiers? Can upgraded firmwares correct the error code A0-30, U2-00 and the likes? Where can I get the matchable firmwares to do the job? Thanks.

Hello, I understand you are in a difficult position. You are trying to fix Sharp copiers without much training or support. Here, we can help if you keep your questions specific to one issue at a time. Please provide details and let us know what you have already tried.

As for firmware files, you must get them from Sharp. Any other transaction of firmware is illegal and may install viruses. The Sharp update procedure on current models is Sim 49-1

The problem am facing now is that the mx -b201d is showing error code U2-00, and I tried to clear it but it won't clear so I thought upgrading the firmware will correct the error code, any better solution?

I believe U2-00 problem come from EEPROM.

What should I do to solve the problems hence U2-00 is caused by eeprom?
