I have an issue with sharp MX-3571 Display screen is off but home button light, sub power button and red light are on. Did replace the MFPC board but still same. What is the root cause of it. Anyone has any better idea for me to resolve the issue.

did u replace the msata ? and also the display hardness?

The 3571 takes an EMMC card. It is half the size of an Msata. Be sure to have the correct one. Can you see any image on the screen if you hold a flashlight against it ? One problem I hope you don't have is that there is a fuse on the scn pwb that can be tripped if the ribbon cables aren't inserted correctly. I have also heard it is best to power down the machine before doing a firmware update or it might cause something similar. The board would need replacement in those cases. Hopefully it's just the EMMC.

We had one do this because of a jumbo paperclip on the ADF pwb. It was one of those problems that you think about laying in bed. Took a while but I finally figured it out.

Ive had this several times, the ribbon cable can be not seated right into the MFP board, cable can be damaged from incorrect insertion and ive had the LVDS board fail causing this too.
