This won't help but I will throw this out there. I installed Lexmark DV units in a MX-C407F and they worked. I then installed a black drum from a Lexmark in a MX-C407F and it said replaced unsupported IU. There is a crum chip on the drum but I can't see one on the DV units. So while the drums (IU's) will not work the DV units will.

I am down to three MX-C50DU-B that I have projected to last me until the end of the year. Then I will start to lay awake at night.
