Sharp mx 2300 printing registration problems

Hello . Has anyone had problems printing from word docs? the client inserts a picture into a box,but the picture runs out of allignment and wont fit square into the box or boxes!
the machine is networked to four pc's all users have same problem.

Copying is ok ! so rules out reg. Cluth problems .
    thanks guys and girls.

    Obviously not a machine problem.

Firstly, try setting the color settings within the print driver to 4Bit.
This is under Color, Advanced Color, 1bit/4bit.

I've seen many really weird document printing faults fixed simply by choosing 4bit. It rips the document with 16 shades of each color instead of only 2 shades.

Make sure you are using the latest drivers for the PC's and Upgrade the Firmware on the machine.

Check printer rego using sim 64-05, 64-01 self tests. You will see a problem on these pages if you have a rego issue.

Run sim 50-22 just as a precaution too.

All options tested and new firmware installed still have problem but have found the black running off when printing and also the same in test mode! some times no black at all !

its got to be the memory cards or worse mfp control board ?

        ill try new memory first

it looks like standard ddr2 256mb not sure what frequency though?

any body now the correct type ' thank you .

          tinman...

Please attach some print samples on your next post. Really need to see what you are talking about to give best advice for the fix.

Scan a few pages with the C/Q issues and attach them here.
