    MX-5141N - Restore "Total Count"?

I have reset the total count (by mistake), do anyone know if it's possible to restore the total print values?

I have tried with no success. We have one machine in the field where the total is off. We simply add the known last meter to the new reads.

The meters are stored in the 8 pin chip. I pulled the chip and found the meter in Hex when I read the chip in a programmer. I then programemd the correct meter and re-read the chip and it held. Once it is installed back in the copier it is overwritten with the incorrect meter again. I think the meter might be on all three 8 pin chips in the copier. This is the only conclusion I could come to how the meter on the Main pwb can get overwritten when installed back inot the copier.

I think you are left with doing what we do or adding copies, prints, faxes and others to get your total.

I found that on machines we had accidently cleared the counter that the correct count is still shown in 22-01 I think so you cant mis represent the machine as low meter.
