    SHARP MX3570V - Error Code

    I've got a system that when I changed the Drum/Blades/MC's when I ran a SIMMS 50-22

I am coming up with two codes and I can't get things to settle down:

Before I add the error codes I am getting ghosting images. too"

    Error Code - Data_Sub_K_F_2nd 11

    Error Code - Data_Main_K_F_5th 54

I called Tech Support but wasn't able to get the answers needed to get through the repair.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

You didn't mention anything about the transfer belt? Check and clean the sensor for the belt unit. I've had this happen a few times. I generally make sure everything inside the unit is as clean as possible, especially the sensors, reseat the offending drum and developer units and try the calibration again. Also be sure to do a 44-27 reset before starting.

    Good luck

      Hi
Just to understand: The error occurs after you have replaced the drum, MK kit or before? Drum unit changed completely or as individual parts? The error says that he cannot calibrate BK. Try changing the drum BK with cyan to see if a different error code appears. How much has the device been running? How old is the transfer belt and wiper? The more information you provide, the better you can help from a distance...

Definitely the sensors above the transfer belt need cleaned. Also, if you are nearly out of toner and cannot produce a dense enough image, those codes will show.

All the MC's & Drums have been changed along with the Developers. It was noticed that the Blk DV Unit was bad, that was changed. The Primary Transfer was not changed but was thought to replace. The system has 105k B &W and approx 75k Color copies.

I was when I went to set up SIMMS 50-22 that I had trouble. I was getting a reading to adjust right with one of the colors 196 clicks,

What I am getting now is misalignment of the color. I have never had this as an issue with any color machine I've delt with. At this point I'm at a loss.

So you're saying you executed 50-22 succesfully without a "DATA_SUB_(x)" error and one of the color reading was 196.x left or right? Do you get an "All rotate 'x'" message below?

I wonder if one of your drum blades flipped?

I changed out one of the Drums a second time that helped with 50-22 not coding out but I am getting ghosting with the colors. I am looking now to change the Primary Transfer Belt. I took a closer look at the belt and am going to change that out tomorrow. If this helps that would be a good thing. Mined you this has been a well maintained copier. Appreciate the feed back from everyone. I'll report outcome when I get through this. Thanks!

I have been getting different error codes listed. I have, when it comes up with (from SIMMS 50-22) Turn R 96 to just turn it L instead to see about canceling out the code. I may not be the right thing to do, but it helps with getting a reading without an error code - I did by the way clean the Primary Transfer Sensor. Did it work? Jury is still out but I know it didn't hurt.

Good call but I originally changed all Drums and Blades (All Brand New)

Re: SHARP MX3570V - Error Code

I tried everything possible stabilized the color printing and couldn't keep spending the time to fix the problem. I upgraded the machine. That was the fix. I didn't like doing that but the client was the one that suggested this option before I did and she did it several times.

The machine I leased the client - brand new out of the box - I now have a Scanning (registration) problem that I think should be okay but I need to go back and do a few more things. Is's a lot of trial and error. I've only had 3-copiers with this type of issue. Aren't I lucky?
