    Jams when scanning to email

    New MXM550N with latest firmware; customer scanning 50 pages to email or desktop. If a jam occurs in feeder, scanned images are sent. To get the full 50 pages, the customer must restart from beginning. Is there a way to recover without starting over or having the images sent as a partial document? Thanks for your help...

    I am not entirely sure, but you could try adding more RAM to the machine. Otherwise, I think its the normal way the machine handles these things.

      Thanks, Wynard, will give that a try, but I'm not optimistic. When copying, if a feeder jams occurs, it will say return one document to feeder and press start. But when scanning to email/desktop, it does not give that option.
      It does say "Communication error occurred - 'x' pages were transmitted" and job status shows NG440000. The email did transmit and received without any error indication.
