Sharp AR M207E smudges

I have a customer with a new Sharp AR M207E. She has the network print and scan feature. The copier portion works properly. The network print was giving her a smudge on the copy when she would print from the internet. Now the machine gives her a smudge whenever she print from the network. The copier/flattop works fine, no smudges.
Does anyone have any information as to why, and how to fix the problem.

I'm not sure what the fix is but I might suggest using a laptop or one of their computers and connect the Copier with a USB or Parallel Calbe, by passing the Network, to see if it is something with their Network or if it is in fact the Copier.

If it ends up being the Copier I could only think it would be something to do with the Copier's Print Controller. The former is a quick check to isolate the problem.

Another thought would be the Print Controller Memory - is ther enough for the type of printin they are doing. Not likely, just a thought.
