ARM -450 user codes
WE just installed a ARM-450 and entered account user codes for copy and print controll. What happens is when they print, a notice page prints out after every print job warrning that a invalid user has printed. The IT dept. hasnt yet reloaded the print drivers to activate the password feature. Is this printout normal and can i turn it off for now the customers complaining about the extra click they will have to pay for until there IT dept. reloads the driver. Thanks for help.

You DONT need to reload the drivers!!!
You need to add the user accounts into the driver under the Printing Preferences, Job Handling tab. When the machine recognises a print job coming from a matched user code, you will not get that second page printed out. If you had the option called 'Canel print by invalid user' selected on the machine, the machine wouldnt even print it, it would automatically delete it. -
Go to Key Op Programs, Printer Settings and make sure the "Prohibit Notice Page" is checked.Comment

Yes, thats also true.
But make sure you are using the user codes in the print driver, or you are wasting you time if you wanted the security on the machine for any auditing purposes for each user. The print counts of each user will be incorrect when looking at the user click report.Comment
