I'm not sure if there is a GDI driver for this machine (there is one for the ARM455 you might try). You can try that if you find one. If you do install the GDI driver be sure to install it first then hook up the machine (Windows should pick it up right away as a plug and play)! Also I have used a HP Laserjet driver (4000 for instance) when I am setting up for printing from a parallel port, it works but you lose all of the capabilities of the machine (duplex, finisher) so this is less than ideal. Hope this is helpful.

    Good luck.

450 not a gdi printer. It pcl printer.i think you better upgrade to network printer. Using iee1284 port alot of problem likes data distorsion, interference coz it sometimes print funny characters.

You can get the ARP14? network add-on (just a set of ROMs and a NIC card and keycode) and turn it into a networkable unit. But that is an additional cost!!!

                Thanks friends

yes y now that to add a network conetion have a aditional cost, but y don,t need that, y have the copier conect by parallel cable, and y want only to try a upgrade for to see if fix the print errors.

                thanks a lot
