    sharp AR160

    hi friends,
After toner exhausted, I replaced toner with new one and m/c shows "U2-40". Found OK when swapping the EEPROM. Is there any simulation to reset or cancel this error? Suggestions please.

Press Clear Key, interrupt key, shift key, interrupt key, 16 Start (Print) key.

While you do not replace CRUM CHIP on new (not cloned) U2-40 will continue to appear.
Error U2-40 appears because of use of the cloned chips more often. It is impossible to use the cloned chips to that the device remembers names (ID) the "killed" chips. An exit: 1. To use original chips in cartridges. 2. To clean from EEPROM records about ID the "killed" chips.
I will advise to use the first variant.
