It's a function that allows a remote PC to see the copier's display and actually control the operation of the copier with either Sharp's PAU5 or an application such as VNC Viewer. Log into the admin settings, go to 'Operation Settings" and select 'Remote Operation Settings'. Use the drop down for 'Operation Authority', select "Prohibited'.

      thank you ZOOTECH,

much appreciated...one question though...if i select prohibit...does that mean that you will no longer be able to connect to the control panel? and if so is ther a way of just turning the message off? while still allowing the remote connection?

      thanx

If you select prohibit, a remote connection cannot be made. For security reasons, the user at the control panel allows the connection or not. The remote connection is mainly for troubleshooting or training, at the customer's request for assistance. You can not get rid of the message if you want a remote connection.
