Katun doesn't carry them and I did take the one off the existing cartridge but found out that they only have a certain life before they will stop working. My problem was not realizing that the toner cartridge for a Sharp ARM 350 would not work in an Imagistics IM-3510 though they are the same copier.

In crum chips For each model certain identification values are entered.
For Sharp 350 these values differ from Imagistics IM-3510, other same data. For change of the identifier of an accessory to model of the device and change of a regional code, it is necessary special “Chip Recharge device” for crum chips. It concerns crum chips manufactures sharp till 2006. Crum chips, let out later and Crum chips – manufactures Katun, it is impossible to reprogram.

Why don't you use the services that support this site. There is an add right next to the Copytechnet logo that advertises 'chip resetting devices'

I would use the services if I could justify the expense. Right now I only have one copier that uses crum chips.
              Thanks!!!!
