    Black Dark Prints Sharp AR-M237

It started by clearing a paper jam, once it was cleared and back in business (or should be) started to get black copies no matter if was a laser print,or a copy, ....Black ..like a sky shot. The scanner, laser, ///H.V. Power Supply, Fuser bulb and associated parts were replaced with new parts....And one of the unites only had little over 42k the other , same senerio right after the paper jam and once cleared and restored....nothing but "sky shot" copies...Has anyone ever run into this?Any thoughts are apppreciated,Steve

Check for MC arcing. Replace the saw tooth plate (LPLTM0386QSZZ) and MC Holder (CHLDZ0035RS57) or use a new AR310NC.

If you have additional memory installed on the IMC PWB, check if a chip resistor is installed on the back of R332 (IMC). Replace the IMC PWB if it is missing.

Make sure firmware is up to date

Ive had that problem as well. There is a bulletin about the charger being changed so i just pulled the charger out on the machine and cut the teeth off they showed in the tip and it worked for me.

        Nice work Lawrence.....A+ my man!

Be careful you dont get picked on by the moderators by showing Sharp official Tech Bulletins or Repair Hints. I attached one a few days ago, then it got removed as it was ''copyright material'' in their opinion.

Does not say that anywhere, plus it is a freely available service bulletin, available to techs. I was left scratching my head, but am willing to play their game.

Thats funny, one of the moderators sells those official manuals!

            I hear ya bro.

Funny thing is, the manuals dont actually have the info in them that the tech needs. It is more often than not the Modifications or Update bulletins which are needed and what we are quoting to get the machine going again. Having a service or parts manual will sometimes do nothing.

            Hear we go........
