    sharp Ar206

hey im having trouble with a sharp ar 206, it is displaying a jam from the sensor right before the reg roller, i have been messing arround with this machine in our workshop for about 3 days now and it has me scratching my head as to why it is doing this, i have tried replacing the sensor and the sensor arm, but no luck so far,
any imput or ideas would be great

i'd also like to mention that i have worked on these kind of machines for the last 12 months and havent come across anything like this before. since my 1st post i have tried removing the sensor from the position in the machine and let it sit out of place without the sensor arm attached so there is no way it can be activated, but still the machine will start up for about 3 secconds and then indicate that there is a jam in the area where the sensor is supposed to be. anyone else encountered something like this before or have and solutions?

          Had that............

Look to the Right door and the Fuser exit Sensor flag...

As the paper pick-up and the transport rollers energise, the small jolt will displace the Fuser exit Sensor flag, because the Right door is slightly warped with the heat or the keepers on the bottom are worn and door opens slightly.. not keeping the Fuser exit guide in place.

Hold the top rear of the door closed with you hand and try it..
          regards

Try replacing the exit sensor or the one at the fuser unit.

thanks for you help, i ended up replacing the fuser unit and the black exit unit and resolved problem, i would also like to mention that i had a great deal of trouble with the exit uni. it was showing 2 jams and i spend hours playing round with it in the workshop to realise that the shift motor for the offset tray had to be installed so it could activate the timing switch,

              but thanks for your imput
