i've got a problem mxm 620u. it is calling a f2 error.there is no subcode .i've tried toner and dev motors, checked the harness etc.
in sensor check TFSD is high. i removed the sensor from its housing leaving it connected but hanging down so it would not detect toner in the hopper. the sensor was still high.

i have to go with the sensor but could do with some second opinions

I know what you are talking about....

Sometimes it just says: 'Call for service F2' on the display, with no sub-code.

You will still find the full trouble code listed in the trouble code list in sim 22-04.

turned out to be a pinched wire in the harness to the drum reflectivity sensor
