Has anybody had any ongoing problems with F2 04 error messages on the AR 168D? I know the book says the crum chip, i just wanted to see if anybody figured out anything else.......thanks

    Which toner are you using?

    AR152NT
    AR156NT
    AR168NT

All 3 will fit into the machine but only the 152 and the 168 toners will work. The 156 will give you the error code.

Have also had problems with the metal bracket and post that holds the female connector for the CRUM chip but that normally will just give you the add toner message.

Hope this was helpful. Good luck.

We use AR 152 and AR 168 NT toners....its just kind of a spur of the moment code. The machine appears to be running fine and then all of a sudden the code appears. It might be the programming in the chips we get too....

i cleaned the female end of the machine that was giving me a problem and it hasn't came back yet...but i'll check the bracket and make sure its ok also

      thanks for your help
