    MXNSX1 REMOVAL

We have an arm257 which came in on trade and now has been resold. It has network scanning which the new owner does not need. I can't remember for sure, but i think there is a procedure for removing it or transfering to another machine. Anyone know for sure. Thanks
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

You'll need an act of God to transfer the scan option to another machine. It use to be possible if you had the application number and a valid reason to change to another serial number, but that has changed recently. Once the product key has been issued for a machine, whether inputted correctly or by mistake, that's it, no re-issue.
It won't hurt the machine to leave the option as is.

      Bingo!

Leave the machine as-is. Whats wrong with selling the client a function that they might want in the future anyways? I can almost guarantee you that a few years down the track, you'll be at a service call, when you get asked....'can this thing scan?'
