We have an arm257 which came in on trade and now has been resold. It has network scanning which the new owner does not need. I can't remember for sure, but i think there is a procedure for removing it or transfering to another machine. Anyone know for sure. Thanks

You'll need an act of God to transfer the scan option to another machine. It use to be possible if you had the application number and a valid reason to change to another serial number, but that has changed recently. Once the product key has been issued for a machine, whether inputted correctly or by mistake, that's it, no re-issue.
It won't hurt the machine to leave the option as is."You can't trust your eyes, if your mind is out of focus" -- -

Bingo!
Leave the machine as-is. Whats wrong with selling the client a function that they might want in the future anyways? I can almost guarantee you that a few years down the track, you'll be at a service call, when you get asked....'can this thing scan?'Comment
