I know that there are codes that will pop when certian counters , (i.e. = maintenance, fusor, ect... ), reach a set cycle count like 200k clicks. I do know that an "FK3" code on a MX-3501 is the code for the web cleaning unit. However, when I looked thru the service manual to find what this code pretains to, I could not. I even used adobe's lil search bar with "FK3", "FK 3", "FK-3". It still does not find it. If anyone knows what that code means, I would really apprecaite it.

You're right, no FK3 code listed; FK3 usually indicates the "Fusing web print counter reaches 150,000 sheets", but this MFP doesn't have web cleaning. Make sure your firmware is current and maybe set maint cycle to 999 and clear 24-4."You can't trust your eyes, if your mind is out of focus" -- -

Ok, here is the deal, the customer is located an hour away, so i wanted to figure out what it ment before i made the drive. But after all of this running and looking, I decided to call the customer to see if maybe they misread the error, when I called, they had no idea what I was talking about as far as even putting in a service call. I went and checked up front and come to find out the service ticket was made w/ the wrong customer. The code is a FK3 code but it is on a MX-3501n. I am sorry about posting this now needless topic. And thanks for the quick reply Zootech.Comment
