    MX3501 DSPF

I know I'll feel foolish when I get the answer to this one, but here goes. I need to replace the separation roller on and MX3501 and don't see any disassembly instructions in the service manual. I could start taking things apart and get to it sooner or later, but I'd rather do it right. I know this is an old machine and I should already know how to do this, but it just never came up before. Also we don't have that many in the field. If someone could tell me where sharp hid the instructions I'd appreciate it.
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

They have a separate SM for the DSPF. MX3501_DSPF is the manual. Somewhat different that the MXM700 DSPF in that you need to take the entire top off instead of the small cover plate. then the sep roller is the same.

    Good luck.

Open the top cover, remove the screw in the center of the panel. Remove the t/up feed cover( under top cover)remove the take up and feed roller, then remove the cover under that and then remove the sep roller, replace and reverse removal. hope it helps also note sharp has upgraded the take up and sep rollers as well as the t/up pressure spring.

Went back and put the rollers in. Thanks for the help. Still feel foolish.
