    AR310 DRUM

Does anybody know if an AR310 drum can be substituted for an AR271. Ran out of 271s. Thanks. By the way this is going in an ARM237

Ive never tried it but the OPC on the drums looks differnt. The front frame collars look differnt to. look at the pic.

I'd be curious to know if the AR310DU will work with a 237/257. Im told i can't order the frames from supplies any more as they stopped stocking the older versions.

Thanks for the response Lawrence. I tried anyway and the problem that really keeps it from working is the size of the hole in the front. It's too small for the locking shaft to go in. Other than that I think it would work.

what would happen if you put a 257 drum pin in the 237 frame?

I thought about that but I didn't have one to try. I'm going to check that out.

Another thing you could do is put the drums in a freezer for an hour or two then you can pop the plastic end out of the drums and swap it.
