MXM550N shifts to the back by 1/4 to 1/2 intermittently

The image while copying will intermittently shift towards the back by 1/4 to 1/2 inch. The problem will occur to the whole copy job, not just individual pages. I get it to occur about once every 10 to 15 copy jobs. I have tested it on 2 to 2 and both sides are shifted towards the back. They say they only see it occur on copy jobs and not print or scan. I have gotten it to occur off the glass as well.

I have tried defaulting TC 53-7, 50-10, 50-12 and restored system settings to default. I have reflashed firmware and replaced the scanner control PWB. I will be trying the PCU PWB per Sharp. Hoping that somone has seen the problem or have ideas. Thanks for your help.

Just to clearify, it is a front to back issue and not a lead to trail.

Who knows, when I figure the problem out, I'll probably feel like one. Hey, this Gabe. This would be Mark from the other SBM

I didn't catch the glewisme at first, but then I noticed the Scarborough. Nothing much here. Just come here for answers. Try to answer some, but usually the questions are answered with my ideas already.

So far, 2 days of testing and the PCU has fixed the issue.
